Ed Sheeran has joined the cast of Bridget Jones’s Baby. He posted a selfie on Instagram with Renee Zellweger as proof. He looks thrilled to be on set.

Sheeran captioned his post:
Spent the day being an actor in the new Bridget Jones movie. Loved it!

Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger are reprising their roles in Bridget Jones's Baby. Although the script is being kept under wraps we think there could be a clue in the title. Hugh Grant is not returning but Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has stepped in.

The film is not based on Helen Fielding's latest book Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy. Fielding wrote the screenplay from her previous columns with David Nicholls (One Day, Us).
