A new video series by The Guardian asks celebrities to take a look at themselves and draw a self portrait on an iPad.

We have been fans of Gillian Anderson for some time, from watching Anderson on the X Files to The Fall with Jamie Dornan. Not only can she play the modern woman, she is also brilliant at period drama. Think Miss Havisham in Great Expectations or Lady Dedlock in Bleak House.

The 46 year old actress was candid about her desire to be a normal mum.
When asked:
"You do know that you are good looking?"
Anderson responded:
"Yes ... I've come to that realisation late."

Take a look at Anderson's self portrait.
